Repeaters

What is a repeater?

An amateur radio repeater is a special station that helps ham radio signals go further. It listens to signals on one frequency, then boosts and sends them out on another frequency. To use it, set your radio to the right frequencies, listen before talking, and remember to identify yourself. Think of it like a radio booster that makes your messages travel longer distances.
